At 8 a.m. on Sunday, November 22, the terrace at DeRomo's will already be serving coffee and cannoli. The first cars of the morning will be taking the best spots, and a reserved section will be held for exotic cars. Every boutique along the walkways will stay dark for another four hours.
At Promenade at Bonita Bay this season, the event hosts set Sunday's hours, not the shops. The center went to season hours on November 1, so Sundays are part of the week again after a summer of locked doors. The shops keep a five-hour Sunday, from noon to 5 p.m. The November calendar posted on October 20 runs well past that. A different host sets each Sunday's start and end time, and the restaurants keep going until 9.
Five Hours on the Door, Much Longer on the Calendar
From May 1 through October 31, the Promenade's shops were closed on Sundays and kept 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. hours Monday through Saturday. Season hours run November 1 through April 30. Monday through Saturday stretches to 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday comes back from noon to 5 p.m.
The events don't follow those hours. Across the three Sundays left on the November calendar, the scheduled activity starts as early as 8 a.m. and ends as late as 6 p.m. Each Sunday has a different host and a different shape. Only one of them actually matches the store hours.
The season started with a quieter Sunday. November 1 was the first day of Evelyn & Arthur's annual clothing drive for Hope Hospice, which runs through Saturday, November 14. If you're cleaning out a closet for the season, you can drop items off until November 14.
November 8: The Center Bar Runs Past Closing
The first big Sunday belongs to The Center Bar. The Promenade describes it as its covered courtyard bar and live entertainment venue. The Blues and Bloody's Sunday Concert Series is on the calendar from noon to 6 p.m., so it starts right when the shops open and keeps going an hour after they close.
The series is back from earlier seasons. Last November, the Promenade's announcement described live bands, a build-your-own Bloody Mary station, food and drink specials, no cover, and a request to bring lawn chairs but no coolers. Those details describe past seasons. The November 2026 listing gives the time and the name but hasn't announced performers.
Even without a concert, The Center Bar runs on its own hours. Its site lists Sunday entertainment from 5 to 8 p.m. and a daily happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m. Live music there keeps going three hours after the shops close at 5.
November 15: The One Sunday That Fits the Store Hours
The Arts & Craft Fair with Ladies Local Shopping Network is listed from noon to 5 p.m., the same hours the shops keep. If you want to shop the boutiques and browse the vendor tables in one trip, this is the Sunday where the two schedules line up.
Ladies Local Shopping Network calls itself a privately owned event planning company that organizes and promotes fairs, festivals, markets and social events around Southwest Florida. It puts the focus on local vendors and small businesses. So the fair's vendors come from the area's maker and small business community, which is a different mix from the Promenade's regular tenants.
November 22: Four Hours Before the Doors Open
The fourth Sunday of the month has the longest day on the calendar. Two separate hosts overlap, and both are open long before the shops.
Cars and Cannoli is presented by Ferrari Owners Club Florida and hosted by DeRomo's Gourmet Market and Italian Restaurant. The club's event listing describes a gathering every fourth Sunday from 8 to 10 a.m. It's open to exotic, classic, custom, muscle, sports and specialty vehicles. Early arrivals get the best placement, and a section is held for exotic cars. Coffee and cannoli are served from 8 a.m. on the terrace and inside the Coffee Bar. The club calls the event family- and pet-friendly.
That same Sunday is the second day of the Art Walk at Promenade at Bonita Bay, which runs from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on both November 21 and 22. The Promenade bills it as a monthly Art Walk, and its January announcement put the artists "within the walkways and fountains of The Promenade alongside the restaurants and shops."
Here's how that Sunday lines up hour by hour, using the posted event times and each restaurant's own listed hours:
Time | What's open or starting | Whose hours |
|---|---|---|
8:00 a.m. | Cars and Cannoli; coffee and cannoli on the DeRomo's terrace | Ferrari Owners Club Florida and DeRomo's |
9:00 a.m. | Art Walk day two opens; Yonutz opens | Promenade Art Walk; Yonutz |
10:00 a.m. | Cars and Cannoli wraps up | Ferrari Owners Club Florida |
11:00 a.m. | DeRomo's restaurant starts lunch | DeRomo's |
Noon | Shops open | Promenade season hours |
3:00 p.m. | Roy's Sunday dinner starts; DeRomo's pauses after lunch; Center Bar happy hour starts | Roy's, DeRomo's, The Center Bar |
4:00 p.m. | Dinner at DeRomo's and Molino's | DeRomo's, Molino's |
4:30 p.m. | Art Walk closes | Promenade Art Walk |
5:00 p.m. | Shops close; Center Bar Sunday entertainment starts | Promenade season hours; The Center Bar |
9:00 p.m. | DeRomo's, Molino's, Roy's and Yonutz close | Restaurants |
By the time the shops open at noon, the car gathering is two hours over and the Art Walk has been set up for three.
The day before gets crowded too. On Saturday, November 21, the SWFL Car Show runs from 2 to 5 p.m. during the first day of the Art Walk. The two car events fall less than 24 hours apart.
The Restaurants Keep the Latest Hours
Once the shops close at 5, the restaurants take over. Four hours of Sunday evening are left, and the Promenade directory lists The Center Bar, DeRomo's, Molino's, Roy's and Yonutz as its dining tenants.
- DeRomo's says on its restaurant page that it's open seven days a week. Lunch runs 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the dining room closes from 3 to 4, and dinner runs 4 to 9 p.m. Happy hour at the restaurant bar is daily from 3 to 6 p.m.
- Molino's lists Tuesday through Sunday, 4 to 9 p.m., and is closed Mondays, according to its site. On Sundays it opens an hour before the shops close.
- Roy's shows Sunday dinner from 3 to 9 p.m. on its Promenade directory listing.
- Yonutz is the newest of the group. The doughnut and milkshake shop arrived at the Promenade in late August, and the center posted its now-open notice on August 24. The Bonita Springs location page lists 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week. It opens an hour after Cars and Cannoli starts and stays open four hours after the shops close.
There's one gap in the lineup. Molino's is closed Mondays, so a Monday night out at the Promenade means DeRomo's, Roy's, The Center Bar or Yonutz.
The Weeknights Run on the Same Kind of Schedule
Sundays aren't the only days where a host sets the hours. DeRomo's has two dinner-and-show nights in November. On Monday, November 9, Michael Dutra performs a Frank Sinatra show from 6 to 8:30 p.m. On Thursday, November 19, comedian Frank Del Pizzo takes the same 6 to 8:30 p.m. slot.
That Thursday also has Sip, Shop & Stroll from 5 to 7 p.m., so the dinner show starts while the shopping event is still underway. Evelyn & Arthur fills the weekday afternoons with trunk shows. Sympli is on November 4 and 5, and Alembika is on November 9 and 10, both from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Sundays After November 22
The November calendar lists nothing for Sunday, November 29, the Sunday after Thanksgiving. That leaves the regular noon to 5 store hours and the restaurants' own schedules.
The two regular events point toward December. Cars and Cannoli follows a fourth-Sunday pattern, so the next one would fall on December 27 if the schedule holds. The Art Walk is billed as monthly, and Happenings Magazine reported last season that it runs October through April. That would cover the whole stretch of season hours, but the 2026–27 dates haven't been posted. Both are worth checking on the Promenade's events page before you plan around them.
If you're thinking about what your home is worth now that the season has started and the Promenade is busy every day of the week again, The Dellatore Real Estate Company will prepare a free home valuation for you, quietly and on your schedule.
